More Solar Powered Devices Ahead for Simon Wilby

Simon Wilby sees enormous potential in clean, green solar energy. After inventing The Smart One, an aftermarket device for cellular phones which keeps cell phone batteries constantly charging from ambient light sources;  Simon Wilby sees more and more common household devices going “green” and benefiting from the same technology used in The Smart One.

For instance, Simon Wilby has already designed and patented unobtrusive solar panels for laptops which attaches to the back of the laptop screen like a skin and delivers power through extremely thin wires that connect to the power port.

Simon Wilby is also developing “smart batteries” that should eliminate the need for constant battery replacements for such sensitive household devices such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Soon, there may even be solar powered street lamps, according to Simon Wilby who’s already developing a system to light up remote areas of Barbados, where his company The Smart Power Inc. is headquartered.
